Been to ER HOT POT twice now, and loved it both times. Note that this place isn't AYCE, but that's the great thing about it. I've been to AYCE hotpot places which will cost between $50-100 per person, and you just have to stuff yourself until you're no longer enjoying the food. At ER HOT POT, you can order individual dishes, but they also have some very great value sets. They have a $80 set that is recommended for two people, but actually managed to feed three people comfortably. And the nice thing is, if you don't finish what you order, you can take it to go. The first time I went, it was just my wife and I; and the 2nd time, it was a group of 5 friends. The experience was great both times regardless of party size.

Amazing food and great service. Best spot in Battery Park. We have the combo special with 3 meat and plenty of vegetables. Very healthy.

This place is incredible! Brought here by a coworker that introduced us to hotpot. Small shop with great service, clean restaurant, and excellent food selections. Family style. She taught us how to cook and eat with the dipping sauce we made at the sauce station. We didn't ask for rice. Didn't need it. It was so good. Very reasonable prices. We ate our fill and checked out for about $140 including tip. Great spot off the boardwalk. You can see the Statue of Liberty just outside the front door. Very charming.

Really good food! Love their sauce bar -- we got the spicy beef soup and the pork bone broth - highly recommend

ER HOT POT 贰火锅 is a new 'hot pot' restaurant in the Battery Park section of lower Manhattan, just off the Battery Park City Esplanade. This was my first experience in a hot pot restaurant. We were greeted right away and shown to our table. At the time I visited (May 2024) they did not have a liquor license, so they only had non-alcoholic drinks available. The ordering process is a bit confusing, but it is made a little easier using a tablet computer where you can click into certain choices to get more information. They have also tried to simplify the ordering for first-time guests by creating a combination platter but the downside of that is that the choices are very limited. There were a lot of exotic choices that to the experienced hot pot diner may seem interesting but for us they were a bit too exotic. We stuck with the vanilla choices such as beef and chicken and spring rolls. The hot pot concept is like fondue. There is a central cooking pot where you add meats, vegetables, and other various food items into the pot where it is cooked. They have numerous cooking base choices to cook your items in, but we chose the split pot, which allowed us to try two of the base choices. We chose the tomato base and the coconut base. For an appetizer we ordered the spring rolls, which I must say were disappointing. They were greasy and tasteless. For the main course we ordered chicken and two types of beef. The beef came out thinly sliced and the chicken came in thin sheets and cubes. We also added the vegetable platter. The cooking process is very social. It is fun. We enjoyed adding the meat and the veggies and noodles to create our own dishes and soup bowls. There was a sauce bar where you could get everything from soy sauce to minced garlic to tahini and satay. I love sauces so this was a nice touch. My favorite is always soy with lots of minced garlic. With the choices of sauces along with the meat and veggies we created dish after dish. We both loved the experience very much. The staff were extremely helpful in helping us with our choices and never left a dirty dish on our table for more than a minute or two and kept our hot pots filled throughout our meal. We were not fond of the coconut base but loved the tomato base. This was not their fault, just our preference. Overall, it was a really nice experience, especially because of the fun we had making and creating our dishes right in the hot pot at our table. It is for this reason that I am going to give a 5-star rating.

Very good hotpot restaurant in battery park, finally don't have to walk all the way to Chinatown to have a hotpot. The service is good, the food is amazing, I highly recommend!

A nice change from the AYCE versions of hotpot. Feels less college-party and more grown up. Similar format as the ubiquitous HP options around the city. Broths were good although probably less spicy than some of the others I've had, and we found the value set option to be reasonably priced (and perfect for about 3-4 people). The wide szechuan noodle (a first for me) is a must! BYOB is a nice bonus. I love to bring my own hooch. Like some of the others, they offer ice cream at the end. I enjoyed this meal!

Nice ambiance and great service Authentic Chinese hotpot Clean and warm All food ingredient available

Hot pot comes to Battery Park City! Had actually not been to a hot pot restaurant previously but figured would give it a try when ER Hotpot opened this new restaurant in the downtown area and had a great experience. Although it had only recently opened, it was very popular on a Friday evening with a lively atmosphere. We ordered a variety of meats, vegetables and noodles and cooked them in a split soup base - great flavors. Friendly, helpful staff that will help guide you do the menu and process. Will be back!
